REQUIRED FOR ALL CLIENTS WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN ON A PILATES REFORMER. Pilates Basics is designed to prepare you for Level 1 classes by introducing you to the Pilates reformer equipment, terminology, some of the basic movements and cues. Clients who are new to Pilates should continue with Pilates Basics until comfortable with all the basic moves on the Pilates reformer.
PILATES LEVEL 1
A MINIMUM OF ONE LEVEL 1 CLASS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS.
Clients who have never done reformer Pilates must start with Pilates Basics.
Even if you have taken Pilates reformer classes at other studios, this class will familiarize you with terminology and cueing specific to Toned Body Pilates contemporary style of teaching and prepare you to transition to Level 2 class. Level 1 classes are a great way to be introduced to all the basic movements while getting a challenging workout.
PILATES LEVEL 2
Designed for the client who is ready to expand on the foundations developed from taking Level 1 classes. Level 2 classes are designed to incorporate more challenging movements performed for a longer time at a faster pace with minimal breaks between exercises. Modifications will be given to make movements harder or easier for clients in attendance.
PILATES LEVEL 3
Designed for the client who craves a more challenging workout than the Level 2 Pilates classes. The class will have fewer breaks between exercises and incorporate more advanced movements. Participation in Level 3 classes assumes that you are familiar with movements introduced in Level 2 classes and prepared to modify for any injuries or preexisting conditions you may have. To increase the challenge, Level 3 class will include more repetitions per exercise increased/decreased spring resistance, increased pace of transitions and more complex exercises.
This low-impact, high-energy Pilates class is only taught in a Level 2 or Level 3 format to ensure client safety. Participating in Level 2 Pilates Circuit is recommended before enrolling in Level 3 Pilates Circuit.
Circuit classes combine Pilates and TRX moves with cardio intervals. The cardio intervals are created primarily by jumping off the platform added to the foot end of the reformer. This class is fun, fast paced and designed to elevate the heart rate and challenge the body.
