PILATES ORIENTATION
ALL CLIENTS WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN ON THE REFORMER ARE REQUIRED TO SCHEDULE A PRIVATE SESSION PRIOR TO ATTENDING ANY GROUP CLASSES.

During the orientation the Pilates reformer equipment will be introduced, Pilates principles reviewed and client will be guided through a wide variety of movements on the equipment.  Orientation is intended to prepare new to the reformer clients for group class participation.

PILATES BASICS

REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS.
A MINIMUM OF ONE BASICS CLASS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS.
Pilates Basics is designed to prepare you for Level 1 classes by introducing you to the Pilates reformer equipment, terminology, basic movements, props and cues.  Clients who are new to Pilates should continue with Pilates Basics until comfortable with all the basic movements on the Pilates reformer.  Basics classes are a great way to be introduced to all the basic movements while getting a challenging workout.

PILATES LEVEL 1
Clients who have never done reformer Pilates must start with Pilates Basics.
Even if you have taken Pilates reformer classes at other studios, this class will familiarize you with terminology and cueing  specific to Toned Body Pilates contemporary style of teaching and prepare you to transition to Level 2 class.  Participation in Level 1 classes assumes that you are familiar with Basics class movements.  The class moves at a faster pace than Basics.

PILATES LEVEL 2
Designed for the client who craves a more challenging workout than the Level 1 Pilates classes.  The class will have fewer breaks between exercises and incorporate more advanced movements.  Participation in Level 2 classes assumes that you are familiar with movements introduced in Level 1 classes and prepared to modify for any injuries or preexisting conditions you may have.  To increase the challenge, Level 2 class will include more repetitions per exercise increased/decreased spring resistance, increased pace of transitions and more complex exercises.

PILATES TOWER
Utilizing the Pilates tower working directly off the tower springs.  Class includes use of roll down bar, push through bar, handles and loops attached directly to tower springs.  The class can be easier to follow than some Pilates reformer classes and the movements feel different than movements on the reformer.

PILATES JUMP CIRCUIT
This low-impact, high-energy Pilates class is taught for all level classes. Jump board is introduced in the Basics level to ensure client safety.
Jump board classes combine Pilates and sometimes TRX moves with cardio intervals.  The cardio intervals are created primarily by jumping off the platform added to the foot end of the reformer.  This class is fun, fast paced and designed to elevate the heart rate and challenge the body.

PILATES MAT VIDEO
